As an IPAF registered training school we can provide Operator Training courses at our well equipped training centre or at your premises as long as the appropriate venue and machinery are available.
Who is it for?
The IPAF Operator course is suitable for anyone that operates a MEWP.
What will I learn?
Course content includes the following;
- Introduction
- Pre-theory test
- MEWP categories
- Structural Parts
- Regulations
- Pre-use inspection / handover
- Safe operating methods & hazards
- Theory test PASS or FAIL
- Practical training
- Practical assessment PASS of FAIL
What will I get?
An Operator's PAL card (Powered Access Licence), which is recognised worldwide across industries as proof of platform operator training to the highest standard. It is issued by IPAF to platform operators who successfully complete a training course and is valid for 5 years. You will also receive a logbook, an Operator's Safety guide and an IPAF Certificate.
How long does it take?
Usually 1 day, but can be 2 days depending on the number of machine categories required.
Where can I go?
You can do the training at Niftylift's Training Centre in Milton Keynes or at your premises as long as there is the appropriate venue and machinery for the training course content.
