The HeightRider 12 Narrow (HR12N) is a compact 12m electric narrow boom lift built for high-performance access in confined industrial environments.

With a 12.1m working height, 6.4m working outreach and a 1.5m-wide chassis, it delivers excellent reach from a true narrow-aisle platform. Designed for warehouse, factory and indoor applications, the HR12N combines drive-at-height capability with zero-emission operation at height, maximising productivity while meeting modern site and air-quality requirements.

Compact Design, Maximum Manoeuvrability

The HR12N combines a tight 3.3m turning radius with super-efficient all-electric drive motors for smooth, precise control in confined spaces. Its low-weight design, from just 3,480kg, supports operation on a wider range of floor surfaces and suspended slabs, while also reducing transport requirements, associated fuel consumption and overall fleet operating costs.

With a 225kg safe working load and a spacious ToughCage, the platform comfortably accommodates two people plus tools. Fully proportional controls deliver measured operation, while the telescopic upper boom allows accurate positioning anywhere within the working envelope.

Power Options: All-Electric or Diesel-Electric

The HR12N is available as either an All-Electric or Diesel-Electric boom lift, giving operators flexibility while maintaining zero-emission operation at height.

All-Electric (HR12NE)

The All-Electric HR12NE delivers clean, quiet, zero-emission operation, making it ideal for indoor use, emission-sensitive environments and sites with strict air quality requirements. With no exhaust emissions during operation, it supports compliance with indoor workplace standards and corporate sustainability targets.

Powered by maintenance-free AGM batteries, it delivers up to 75 Standard Duty Cycles (SDCs), equivalent to around five days of typical operation from a single charge.

Diesel-Electric (HR12NDE)

The Diesel-Electric HR12NDE delivers the same zero-emission operation at height, with the added benefit of an on-board engine that can recharge the batteries on site when required. During normal elevated operation, the machine runs on battery power, reducing fuel usage and emissions compared to conventional diesel-only alternatives.

The engine acts as a generator, extending operational uptime when access to mains charging is limited. This makes it well-suited to longer shifts, multi-day projects and sites without a reliable power supply, helping to improve utilisation and reduce downtime.

Built-In Safety as Standard

Safety is integral to the HR12N. It includes Niftylift’s multi-award-winning SiOPS^® (Sustained Involuntary Operation Prevention System), which immediately stops all machine movements if the operator is pushed onto the control console.
