Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Administrator to join our team at Niftylift! The role is based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Shenley Wood, Milton Keynes.
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied administrative role, takes pride in delivering a high level of accuracy, and is passionate about providing excellent support to employees and managers across the business.
You will support the HR function across Milton Keynes and Hoyland, and will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations administration, benefits administration and learning and development support.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support recruitment activities by posting vacancies, liaising with recruitment agencies and coordinating interviews.
- Manage onboarding administration, including preparing offers of employment, issuing new starter documentation and scheduling inductions.
- Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems.
- Administer employee benefits schemes and act as a point of contact for employees and providers.
- Prepare HR letters, correspondence and employee documentation.
- Provide administrative support for employee relations processes, including investigations, disciplinary hearings, grievances, probation reviews and capability processes.
- Update HR trackers, spreadsheets and management reports.
- Support the Learning and Development team with administrative tasks and training activities.
- Arrange meetings, take minutes and carry out general HR administrative duties.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Confidence communicating with employees at all levels.
Desirable
- CIPD Level 3 qualification, or working towards it.
- Experience of using IRIS Cascade HR/Payroll.
- Previous experience supporting recruitment activities including the use of an ATS.
Working Hours & Salary
- This role is based on-site at our Milton Keynes office 5-days per week.
- Working hours: 08:00 - 16:30 (Monday - Friday)
