Introduction
The Paint Technician Role requires dynamic team players, this is a hands-on role shot blasting, fully preparing, wet spraying, and powder coating a range of chassis and ancillary components / materials.
Pay Rate & Working Hours
Working hours will be 37.5 basic hours per week, on a rotating shift basis.
Early shift hours will be 6.00am – 2.00pm Monday – Thursday, and 6.00am – 11.30am on Fridays.
Late shift hours will be 2.00pm – 10.00pm Monday – Thursday, and 11.30am – 5.00pm on Fridays.
Starting Salary between £27,913.60 - £30,222.40 depending on experience!

The Role in More Detail
- Primarily powdering direct to bare metal from a provided set process to powder prime and powder top coat components.
- Experience in powder coating to understand the standards necessary for preparation and application to achieve consistent film thickness, gloss levels, surface finish & colour requirements.
- An appreciation of the Health & Safety hazards within a paint shop. Experienced in using & maintaining air-fed respiratory equipment.
- Flexible to further develop and enhance skills through a range of both wet paint and powder coating processes and products (existing wet spraying experience is beneficial, but not a necessity)
- Working as a team player to achieve customer quality, delivery, cost, and innovation requirements.
