Introduction
The Design Detailer will support the hydraulics team with drafting hydraulic components and producing hydraulic schematics.
Working Hours
Working hours for the role are 40 per week:
- 08:00 - 16:30 Monday - Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break daily.

The Role in More Detail
- Prepare concept hydraulic schematics.
- Prepare detailed hydraulic schematics.
- Prepare hydraulic component specification drawings.
- Undertake drawing changes to existing components and implement change control of components in conjunction with the other business functions.
- Perform basic design calculations.
- Support projects by completing detailing activities to meet project schedules.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate would have:
- An apprenticeship or HND/HNC.
- 2 years of industry experience in a similar role.
- A good understanding of hydraulic systems and schematics.
- A good understanding of hydraulic components.
- Knowledge of hoses and adaptors.
- The ability to carry out basic hydraulic design calculations.
- Drafting experience using AutoCAD, Creo (Windchill).
- Experience in Automation Studio or a similar package would be beneficial.
- Awareness of Electrical systems would be beneficial.
- The ability to produce high-quality work.
