Saturday the 25th of June is Armed Forces Day and to show our support for these brave men and women, members of staff at Niftylift's Milton Keynes and Hoyland sites gathered together to #SaluteOurForces earlier this week.
Armed Forces Day is an opportunity for us 'civilians' to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets, and Niftylift were very pleased to get involved.
The team in Milton Keynes were also joined, rather appropriately, by an armoured vehicle, a Daimler Ferret MK1-2, kindly supplied by one of Niftylift's development team.
In case you're interested, this one was built in 1962 and spent most of its active life as a reconnaissance vehicle in Germany during the cold war, but also did a tour in The Gulf in 1991. Its armour can stop bullets up to 50 cal and it can go as fast in reverse as it can going forward (55mph)!
We at Niftylift are very grateful for the bravery and sacrifice that our armed forces make on behalf of us and our country and are proud to be able to salute them for all they have done. We thank you.
