Monday 6 May 2024
We are thrilled to announce that Niftylift has been awarded the prestigious King's Award for Enterprise in International Trade for 2024—one of the UK’s highest accolades for business success.
As a leading British manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms, this marks our first King's Award for Enterprise, building on a rich history that includes four Queen's Awards for Enterprise.
We've previously achieved the unique distinction of receiving two Queen's Awards on two separate occasions, highlighting our ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation. Our Managing Director, John Keely, shared his enthusiasm about this recognition:
"We are immensely proud to receive this distinguished award. It reflects our collective hard work and dedication to excellence in international trade. It also underscores our commitment to advancing our technology and ensuring that our operations support sustainable practices worldwide."
The King's Award for Enterprise in International Trade is granted to British businesses that demonstrate exceptional performance in international expansion and commercial success. Winning this award required us to demonstrate substantial growth in overseas earnings and commercial success through innovative products and services.
We have significantly expanded our global footprint, showing remarkable export volumes that have increased consistently year on year. Our innovative approach to design and manufacturing has enabled us to deliver high-quality, environmentally conscious products that meet rigorous international standards.
Our export success has brought dramatic benefits to local economies, particularly in the UK, but also in the United States and Europe. We've driven ongoing investment and job creation, significantly impacting communities positively. As John Keely added,
"Our success is not just measured by sales but also by the positive impact we have on communities and the environment. We work hard to be successful on the international stage, but we are a family business at heart, and the well-being of our staff, their families, and our local communities is what drives us to succeed."
The official presentation of the King's Award for Enterprise will take place at a royal reception later this year, attended by members of the Royal Family and other dignitaries.
We continue to strive for excellence and innovation, paving the way for future growth and sustained international success.
