The new HeightRider 12 Narrow (HR12N) MK3 builds on the proven performance of Niftylift’s compact narrow-boom platform with two important new developments: a higher 225kg platform capacity and the introduction of a new Diesel-Electric power option.
Designed for warehouses, factories, and other restricted working environments, the HR12N MK3 retains the compact dimensions, impressive working envelope, and efficient all-electric drive system that made the original HR12N so popular, while delivering greater operational flexibility and productivity than ever before.
Higher Capacity for Greater Productivity
One of the key improvements introduced with the HR12N MK3 is its increased 225kg platform capacity, allowing the platform to comfortably accommodate two people plus tools.
This increased capacity improves productivity across a wide range of applications, including maintenance, installation, inspection, and industrial facility management, helping operators complete more work without compromising compact performance.
Fully proportional controls and a telescopic upper boom continue to provide smooth, precise positioning throughout the machine’s working envelope, helping operators work quickly and accurately at height.
New Diesel-Electric Power Option
Alongside the proven All-Electric model, the HR12N MK3 range now introduces a new Diesel-Electric option for applications where additional on-site charging flexibility may be required.
The new Diesel-Electric variant uses an onboard engine to recharge the batteries directly on site, extending operational uptime while maintaining the benefits of efficient electric drive performance.
This gives rental companies and end users greater flexibility across a wider range of working environments, particularly on sites where charging infrastructure may be limited or unavailable.
Compact Narrow-Aisle Performance
While the HR12N MK3 introduces important new capabilities, it continues to deliver the compact narrow-aisle performance the HR12N platform is known for.
Its compact 1.5m chassis width and tight turning radius make it ideal for manoeuvring in warehouses, factories, distribution centres, and other restricted environments where space is limited.
With a 12.1m working height and 6.4m working outreach, the HR12N MK3 offers an impressive working envelope from a compact, low-weight chassis that can be driven from the platform while elevated for improved efficiency on site.
Efficient All-Electric Operation
The HR12N MK3 continues to benefit from Niftylift’s highly efficient all-electric drive system, delivering clean, quiet, zero-emission operation that is ideal for indoor use.
Powered by maintenance-free AGM batteries, the machine can achieve up to 75 Standard Duty Cycles (SDCs), equivalent to up to five days of operation from a single charge.
Its impressively low overall weight of just 3,480kg also allows it to operate on a wider range of ground surfaces while helping to reduce transport and operating costs.
Advanced Safety and Control
As with previous HR12N models, safety remains central to the machine’s design. The HR12N MK3 is fitted with Niftylift’s impact-resistant ToughCage and the multi-award-winning SiOPS® anti-entrapment system.
SiOPS® instantly stops all machine functions if the operator is pushed onto the control console by an obstacle, helping to prevent serious injury during operation.
The machine also incorporates battery monitoring and protection systems, fail-safe brakes, tilt alarm sensors, and onboard diagnostics to maximize reliability, uptime, and operator confidence.
Connected Fleet Intelligence with Niftylink®
The HR12N MK3 continues to feature Niftylink® telematics, providing owners and fleet managers with real-time information on machine health, activity, diagnostics, and location.
