Icons Explained

We use icons on our literature and here in the specifications sections for products to simplify presentation. If you are unsure what they represent, you will find definitions of every icon we use below;

	Platform Height The maximum vertical distance measured from ground level to the cage floor.
	Working Height The Platform Height plus 2m (to account for an average person's upwards reach).
	Working Outreach The maximum horizontal distance from the slew centre to cage outer edge plus 0.5m (to account for an average persons outwards reach).
	Minimum Weight The gross weight of the machine. Stated weights are always minimums and may vary subject to specification options.
	Safe Working Load The maximum load capacity of the cage. The Safe Working Load must NEVER be exceeded.
	Cage Size The maximum outer plan width and length dimensions of the cage.
	Cage Rotation The maximum horizontal rotation of the cage.
	Fly-Boom Arc The maximum vertical arc rotation of the Fly-Boom.
	Power Options Machine power sources available on the specific model.
	Battery Battery power pack and associated charger available.
	Mains 110v Mains power pack available.
	Diesel Diesel engine power pack available.
	Petrol Petrol engine power pack available.
	LPG Liquid Petroleum Gas engine power pack available.

Trailer Mounted Icons

	Machine Height The maximum height of the machine while in its stowed position.
	Machine Width The maximum width of the machine while in its stowed position.
	Retracted Width The maximum width of the machine while in its stowed position with its axles in the retracted position.
	Machine Length The maximum length of the machine while in its stowed position.
	Working Width The maximum width of the machine with its outriggers in their deployed position.
	Traction Drive Traction Drive feature available as an option or standard feature.
	Outrigger Type Either Manual or Hydraulic Outriggers are available on this model. Where this icon is not shown only the machine's standard outrigger type is available.
	Manual Outriggers Manually operated outriggers are available on this model.
	Hydraulic Outriggers Hydraulically operated outriggers are available on this model.

Self Propelled & Self Drive Icons

	Machine Height The maximum height of the machine while in its stowed position.
	Machine Width The maximum width of the machine while in its stowed position.
	Machine Length The maximum length of the machine while in its stowed position.
	Transport Length The maximum length of the machine while in its transportation position.
	Travel Speed The maximum speed that the machine can propel itself.
	Gradeability Measured from the horizontal, the maximum angle of slope up which the machine can propel itself.
	Turning Radius Measured from the centre of the machines turning circle, the out-most point the machine as it propels itself in the smallest possible circle.
	Working Width The maximum width of the machine with its outriggers in their deployed position.

Track Mounted Icons

	Machine Height The maximum height of the machine while in its stowed position.
	Machine Width The maximum width of the machine while in its stowed position.
	Retracted Width The maximum width of the machine while in its stowed position with its tracks in the retracted position.
	Machine Length The maximum length of the machine while in its stowed position.
	Travel Speed The maximum speed that the machine can propel itself.
	Gradeability Measured from the horizontal, the maximum angle of slope up which the machine can propel itself.
	Working Width The maximum width of the machine with its outriggers in their deployed position.
