Production Administration - Hoyland, South Yorkshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Administrator to join one of the world's leading manufacturers of mobile elevated work platforms. The position is based at our Hoyland, Barnsley branch. Overview

The Production Administrator is responsible for the maintenance of documentation and data as required by the production, quality and engineering teams. The role is split into three main areas:

  1. The maintenance, presentation and archiving of documentation and data in support of the production, engineering and quality teams using Visual ERP, Excel and Word.
  2. Support of production planning and creation of internal production documentation.
  3. Other Administration duties to cover staff absences and holidays.

Administration

  • Maintain data in Visual in order to produce and administrate works order travellers and job cards.
  • Input and review OEE, training, maintenance, quality, safety, delivery note and productivity data.
  • Prepare and present weekly KPI data.
  • Work in conjunction with the General Manager to communicate thoroughly through all business functions, and help in continuously developing or improving current systems.
  • Log quality reports and aid in the creation of monthly Quality Performance Charts.
  • Input weld reworks data ready for analysis by the Quality Department.
  • Maintain the internal Calibration Register and liaise with the Quality Department and Engineers when calibration is due.
  • Scan and file PDI sheets and record against machines shipped.
  • Maintain and continuously update the Training Matrix, and update with training sign off sheets.
  • Input internal scrap data and report on monthly costs.
  • Cover other duties in the absence of other staff through holidays and absence.

Remuneration

£14k to £16K: 40 hours.
