Intermediate Engineering Apprenticeship: Craft (Mechanical / Electrical / Hydraulic Assembly)

We require Intermediate Craft Apprentices who are self motivated, have good manual dexterity and problem solving skills. The job will be a hands on role, based on one of the Product Lines or Cells within the Production Department at Milton Keynes.  The successful applicant will develop into a top class practical Manufacturing Technician with expert knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic assembly, linked to developing, building and servicing the Niftylift product range.

The Role in More Detail: 

Production/ Assembly - Manufacturing Technician

This role requires dynamic team players with a proven skills, knowledge and experience of mechanical assembly, along with hydraulic and electrical installation.  The role requires operating to high quality / workmanship standards, within a manufacturing cell / flow line production environment.  You will be required to perform a range of manufacturing / production operations to the required quality standard, on time and within commercial competition cost budgets (i.e. logistics / materials handling, preparation, painting, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, fitting / fabrication, service / maintenance and development).

Based at Milton Keynes College:

EAL Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Technology

The Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Technology will be delivered on a day release basis, and will include the following units. These units will delivered as a mix of workshop and classroom training, with an emphasis on the development of practical skills.
