What does Niftylift offer Undergrad Students?

Niftylift offer a year work placement for Engineering students who require a year in industry as part of their course.

The Niftylift Placement Year allows undergrad students to explore the many different disciplines in an Engineering and Manufacturing company. After a thorough induction to the company, the student will work on a three to four week rotation through various departments including:

  • Quality
  • Production Engineering
  • Service
  • Purchasing
  • Production
  • New Product Development

Further to the hands-on experience, they will also be mentored by Niftylift's professional engineers and work through the stages of the Monitored Professional Development Scheme ran by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

The students will also get a chance to work on their own project that will contribute to their degree work.
